What is happening to the economy? Why is there economic change?
Redundancy, retrenchment, whatever way you put it and whether you like it or not, the conventional job as you know it is fast becoming extinct!
Why are jobs disappearing?
It is due to the developed world we live in, the introduction of new technology,
global competition, re-
Companies are downsizing, rightsizing, restructuring, as well as merging or takeovers taking place.
Truth be told, there is nothing strange or unusual about this and it is certainly not unexpected. This is economic change which is creating new and unfamiliar risks as well as rich and rewarding opportunities for those that possess initiative and facilitate the change.

Then in the first twenty years of the twentieth century, we saw more advancement than in all of the nineteenth century.
Now, paradigm shifts occur in only a few years time. The World Wide Web did not exist in anything like its present form just a few years ago; it didn't exist at all a couple of decades ago.
